April Event
Brett Thackara, Meteorologist from WHTM ABC 27 will be our featured speaker on Monday, April 20, 2026 with a slide show and PowerPoint presentation.
Brett will be talking about what made his decision to choose his career. He’ll describe what his typical routine of the day looks like, starting at 2:55 a.m., and what is included as a meteorologist. Pros and cons of this profession will be noted, but he finds his profession very rewarding with his co-workers, fun on the job, talking with people about the weather, and never boring.
Brett will allow for questions and more discussion following his presentation.
