Announcing NEW Winter Show: “The Square in Hummelstown”

The Square in Hummelstown is one of the most recognizable locations in Central Pennsylvania. Originally designed by the town founder, Frederick Hummel, its shape and purpose remain unchanged to this day. The Hummelstown Area Historical Society pays tribute to this iconic crossroad with its Winter Show called“On the Square.” Eighty historical photographs of the Square are featured including the arch, the fountain, trolleys, celebrations, street scenes, and businesses. Twenty-five paintings, prints, and other artworks of the Square, as well as 60 contemporary photographs are also displayed. The Show is staged at the History House at 32 West Main Street, Hummelstown. The public is invited to visit the Show on Mondays from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM and Wednesdays from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM. The Show runs from January through April, 2020.

There is no admission charge, but donations are appreciated.
